This post shows an image of animated children playing in a we-go-round. Play feature spotlight. We-go-round. Designed for inclusive, cooperative play. This work is made possible through funding from the Michigan Department of Health Human Services (MDHHS) through Healthy Community Zones Initiative, in partnership with: Eastern Upper Peninsula Intermediate School District, Sault Area Public Schools, and Chippewa Luce Mackinac Community Action Agency.

One of the exciting play features planned for the Outdoor Discovery & Exploration Station at the Sault Early Learning Center is the We-Go-Round.

Designed for ages 2–12, the We-Go-Round encourages inclusive, cooperative play while supporting balance, coordination, movement, and social connection. This accessible feature allows children of varying abilities to participate together side-by-side.

Nature-inspired panels and intentional design elements were selected to help create a welcoming environment where all children can explore, engage, and connect.
