Play feature spotlight. Bear Digirider. Supporting balance, movement, and discovery. This post shows a picture of the black bear digirider on a red spring in the grass. This work is made possible through funding from the Michigan Department of Health Human Services (MDHHS) through Healthy Community Zones Initiative, in partnership with: Eastern Upper Peninsula Intermediate School District, Sault Area Public Schools, and Chippewa Luce Mackinac Community Action Agency.

The Bear DigiRider® adds a playful, nature-inspired element to the Outdoor Discovery & Exploration Station at the Sault Early Learning Center.

Intended for children ages 2–12, this spring rider creates opportunities for imaginative play, movement, balance, coordination, and sensory exploration through active play experiences.

Its gentle rocking motion helps children build motor skills, engage in creative play, and interact with others in fun and engaging ways.
