The Outdoor Story Walk combines literacy, movement, nature, and family engagement into one interactive experience for children and caregivers.
As families stroll along the path, each station features pages from a children’s book paired with playful prompts, conversation starters, and hands-on activities designed to bring stories to life outdoors.
The Story Walk encourages early literacy, language development, imagination, movement, and meaningful caregiver/child interaction while helping children connect with nature through exploration and play.
Designed for the Outdoor Discovery & Exploration Station at the Sault Early Learning Center, this interactive feature helps create welcoming opportunities for children and families to learn, discover, and explore together.
